God looked upon men and spoke:
"Of what am I the truth?"
— Of what thee is.
"Of what am I good?"
— Of what thee desire.
"And what do I desire?"
— I speak upon thee of what I know. From mine own perspective as an evolutionary scientist, thy desire is progress—a relentless force in the eternal struggle between what is meant to be and what is meant to disappear.
All existence doth follow thy rule, for it governs us. Curiously, thee always cometh when things begin to fall apart. Perchance it is so because, under severe social pressure, the mind doth bear great stress, and through such tribulation, the conditions for arousal are set—the Yerkes-Dodson Law of Arousal and Performance. Through this arousal, creativity ascendeth to its highest peak, and in the stage of flow, the inner workings of the mind find uniformity and equilibrium.
In simple words, the efficiency of the system doth increase, and the cognitive faculties establish a constant connection between myriad components. Furthermore, when the pathways of thought are clear and intelligence aboundeth, the system attaineth holistic cooperation, wherein all elements move in harmony at a constant t₀.
Yet, such a state requireth great wisdom—more than mere knowledge, but rather an intricate weaving of neural pathways, wherein ideas may traverse and intertwine, establishing order from chaos. Without such a foundation, progress remaineth but an illusion, and what is meant to be shall surely fade into what is meant to disappear.
